It's like the data transfer function was not activated. Is that possible ?

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Can you plug the RealSense directly into one of the USB3 ports?

Could you also provide more information about your setup?

    • Which Intel RealSense camera do you have?
    • BIOS version on the UP Squared?
    • Reset BIOS to Factory Defaults?
    • What operating system you are trying to use?
    • If windows, what version of the UP drivers did you install?
    • Any other relative information.

By default BIOS settings, all 3x USB3 ports operate at the full 5 Gbps speed.

Ps, I also changed the title of your post as it had your email address. "Intel RealSense not detected"

@jfwillaert I've worked with the RealSense camera quite a bit, and I know it's very sensitive to the cable that's being used. (See many posts on the intel RealSense forum)

I have run a RealSense on the UP board. I used the connector that was provided with the UP board. (The small blue one, I believe it goes from a male 10 pin type B to a female Type A. I then used the original RealSense cable to connect the RealSense.

As a side note, even though Intel states only the original cable should be used, I did find a replacement cable that works:
    https://www.ntcdistributing.com/usb-3-1-type-c/a-to-c/usb-3-1-a-male-to-c-male-cable/

    Good luck!
