Android .img on the upboard

AhmedAhmed Posts: 3New Member
Hi everyone,

I'm trying to flash Android on my upboard but I can't find the .img file to flash on the website.
Is Android isn't available on this board yet?

If it's already available can you provide me a link to this file?

Many thanks in advance! :)

Ahmed

    Hi ,
At this moment, we only have beta version Android for download for beta tester. You can try from

This image only enable GPIO in 40-pins not others, you may see the release note in the image file for more information.

    Hi,

When will there be an Android image with i2c and GPIO fully functional?

    Thank you

At this moment, we don't have specific time frame for I2C. For GPIOs, they are fully functional now.

    Hi there,

I have the Android image installed but I get a "There was a problem parsing the package" error when trying to install any APK from File Manager. I have enabled install from unknown sources.

    What am I doing wrong?

What is the status about Android support?
Where can I get the latest image?

You can download the image here https://up-community.org/downloads/android
But some I/O ports are not enabled, they are required to be paired with specific device, there are no general drivers for those I/O.

Are you able to download it now?

Please come back to check tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.
