How to tell an innovator board?

If I'm not wrong the BIOS documentation for version 1.8 does not mention not to flash it on innovator boards, so I went ahead and flashed my up2 with and it still works.
In the documentation you use the term "EVT2" for Innovator's board. Where can one find the version of the board? Where does EVT2 come from? Let's imagine that I buy a used up2 and I want to upgrade the BIOS, how do I know whether it's safe or not?
Thanks

I understand the question is probably silly, but would it be possible to get some sort of an answer @DCleri , @rogertsai(AAEON) , @camillus , @FredyHsu ?

Hi Sir,
If possible, please provide an overall photo.
Including the top view of the M/B and the photo of the BIOS version.
It is convenient for me to provide suggestions here.Best Regards,

Hi Sir,
Normally, there is no problem with BIOS upgrades, but there are too many BIOS upgrades, and many settings may be adjusted. It is recommended to reinstall your operating system after the update to avoid unexpected problems.
