2 simultaneous LAN connections

Some of the boards have 2 LAN ports. Can they connect to two different networks at the same time? If yes, is this feature supported in both Windows and Linux?

    Yes they can, you have 2 independent network port/chip.
    It is a matter of software configuration and it doesn't depend on the hardware.
