Regulatory Domain not recognized by the System

Hi,
i'm struggling with the Intel AC3165 wireless adapter shipped with Intel Up² .
I'd like to create an access point on 5GHZ channels but setting the Regulatory Domain with all methods I tried gives no result.
I have tried to:
- disable lar via: echo
"options iwlwifi lar_disable=Y" >> /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf - set te reg dom via
iw reg set IT - edit the file /etc/default/crda with
REGDOMAIN=IT
The output of iw reg get seems to be correct:
global
country IT: DFS-ETSI
(2400 - 2483 @ 40), (N/A, 20), (N/A)
(5150 - 5250 @ 80), (N/A, 23), (N/A), NO-OUTDOOR, AUTO-BW
(5250 - 5350 @ 80), (N/A, 20), (0 ms), NO-OUTDOOR, DFS, AUTO-BW
(5470 - 5725 @ 160), (N/A, 26), (0 ms), DFS
(5725 - 5875 @ 80), (N/A, 13), (N/A)
(57000 - 66000 @ 2160), (N/A, 40), (N/A)
Despite that the iw list command returns only not usable channels for 5Ghz frequencies:

I'm using Ubuntu server 20.04.3 (but I had the same issue with 18.04) installed following the guide [here] (https://github.com/up-board/up-community/wiki/Ubuntu_20.04) and everything went fine.
The output of uname -a:
Linux intel-up-2 5.4.0-1-generic #0~upboard4-Ubuntu SMP Thu Sep 23 01:47:49 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
