IEC 62368-1 / IEC 60950-1

in UP Squared Hardware Specification

Hi there, I'm looking for the test report for above mentioned IEC standards (safety) for the up squared board.

there is a report in the downloads area, but it's only for EMC standards. Can you help? Thanks a lot.

    Hi,

    IEC-60950-1 is for IT equipment but not mandatory for embedded computers. So we didn't certify IEC60950-1. ( IEC62368-1=IEC60950-1+ IEC60065, based on the same reason, we didn't certify it as well).
    It doesn't bring you any trouble if you want to use UP board for embedded purposes. Probably not ideal if you want to sell UP board to a consumer.

    Hi Aling, thanks for your quick reply! ok, that's a pity. Is it possible to get a datasheet of the used board material with UL number on it, or maybe a yellow card number? The 60335 we need to test our machine is looking mainly for fire testing and fire consistency. Thank you! Best regards
