Boot problem
Good day!
We work in cooperation with the VIT company to manufacture industrial "Outdoor Box" PCs used for the running neural networks near the data source. As a basis, we use an UP board and during operation, we faced a problem that the device stops turning on after a certain number of shutdowns to restore power. To turn on, you need to manually press the Power button. Actually the device is in the “half on” state, the power indicator is on, but there is no power on the USB, and the board does not boot. This is a big problem for us, because the device must be dismantled and disassembled to access this button.
Marking on board:
UP-CHT01
1907UP6402
Rev:A0.3 0 0
BIOS version: 2.17.1249

That BIOS version doesn't look correct to me.
Can you please check the first line of the BIOS ?
The latest version should be like:
UP-CHT01 R1.7 -
Our version is UP-CHT01 R0.S
-
That's the first revision of the BIOS from 4 years ago, I strongly suggest to update to the latest version.
You might need to update to an intermediate version first.
I will come back to you with more details.

Is this BIOS compatible with our board?
If not, where can I find the correct version? -
Yes it is compatible, but since your board has the first BIOS revision, you might not be able to flash correctly and you need an intermediate BIOS version.
Let me check with our BIOS team.
