S.USV UPS hat's new firmware 2.60 is not functional with old Ubilinux susvd 2.4 on Ubuntu 18.04

I found the i2c interface cannot query correct voltage-in value and turn on/off charging circuit proactively after upgraded to firmware 2.6. Then I downgraded the firmware to 2.4 and it seems to work again.
I am using LiPo 300mA battery with slow charging current 300mA settings.

What firmware and OS are you using?
