UP2 very fragile on the supply voltage

I make robots. And I installed on it UP2. They are powered by lipo batteries with a regulator to make 5V. Regulators that maintain the 5V are used. But on the dozen robot equipped with UP2 we have already burned 9 UP2 ... and before with the UP we have never burned one.
As soon as you want to install a UP2 in a mobile robot, what do you advise to do? 5V +/- 0.5 V is extremely restrictive for mobile robotics !!!
If we do not find a solution quickly, we will go on more professional equipment and not necessarily more expensive ... damage UP2 were nice !

Just out of curiosity, what regulator are you using and what does your circuit look like? I would think that with a proper regulator and design there really should be a problem to maintain 5V +-0,5V or even 0,25V
