Flashing blue light. Up2 board not booting

What does a flashing blue light mean and why is there no documentation where I can look this up?

Hi Bas Horneman,
Can you take a short video about flashing blue light for me? The blue LED is power light and keep on lighting, not for flashing (blinking). Did you try to clean the CMOS for your UP^2? If not, try to remove the cmos battery, and power-on again -
I have the same flashing blue led. Nothing happens on the display when I power my Aaeon UP board. The blue led is flashing for a while and then goes off. The enclosed video shows the flashing (change the extension to .MOV).

Please send it to RMA for further checking.

I’ve just received the board and having the same problem out of the box. Have you found any solution to the blinking led problem? Answer would be highly appreciated.

Hi @Levente ,
Please make sure you tried the following: https://wiki.up-community.org/FAQs#Hardware_Issues
If the board does not boot or you cannot enter the BIOS, you can apply for RMA

Thank you for the answer. Hope it will help:)

Was getting the blue flashing led with 5V2A power supply. Changed to recommended 5V4A and now boots fine
