Error While Initializing MMC Card

I just received my Up Board and installed Ubilinux. However, upon booting I am presented with the following MMC error:

I'm unclear how to begin troubleshooting this. I can't tell if this is a hardware or software problem.

Looking in these forums it appears this may be a ubilinux 4 issue:

I wasn't available at the time of that report and I haven't experienced this myself yet. Following @Bartek's footsteps, there are two workarounds you can try:

• Changing the eMMC Max Speed parameter in BIOS as shown in the first post
• Installing Ubuntu

Please let me know if any of those fixes your issue, as that would indicate a software bug.
