No boot, just blue LED
I use a 5v/2A that worked great and still power 3 other Upboards.
When connected to a power source just a blue LED turns on. Monitor goes into sleep-mode, so no power out the HDMI. The Ehternet LED's don't light up eigher.
It worked the last time I've used it (a month ago).
Please assist, thank you!

Hi,
Try 5V@3A first. It is always good to follow the standard power input.
From there, we can investigate where might go wrong. Thanks! -
I tried a 5V/3A. Still the same behavior, only the blue LED lights up

Could be the same problem like here:

Solution:

We have the same problem, no boot and only blue led.
And in this discussion the page with Solution points to nothing...
Is there someone that can help us?Thank you

Exactly the same no-boot, just blue light issue here. Forum links all down.

Hi All, try the following ways to restart your UP
1. Push the power button, on the same side of the DC jack
2. Remove cmos battery to clear BIOS. Pull out the cable from CN1, and pull-in back after 10 seconds -
Hi All, i've the same problem, but my upboards are unreachable for me, I have hundreds in the world sealed with security seals inside a box, there is no solution to make this thing no longer happen? For me is a BIG problem.

rogertsai(AAEON): it's very helpful recommendation. My board is working again. Thank you

I am having same problem just blue led, I try the power button and Pull out the cable from CN1 but nothing happen

Please follow the recommendation from Roger and also check our wiki for any further instructions: https://wiki.up-community.org/FAQs#Not_Booting_or_Powering_up
Reading from the comments I can see at least 2 different issues:
for who is using 5V3A or 5V2A in particular, you may be damaging the board in the long run as you are using it with a PSU which is lower specs than the ones advised in our shop and documentation. Please refer to this page for better clarity: https://wiki.up-community.org/FAQs#Not_Booting_or_Powering_up
if the board never powered up and you are using the correct power supply and the procedure in the FAQs does not work for you, then the board is faulty and you should apply for RMA

Same here. Board does not boot even with the 5V4A power supply that was included. I tried the procedures given here and in the links but there is no change in behavior.
Additional information that may help:
Long pressing the onboard power switch does power the board off. Pressing the switch after that makes the blue light come back, so the board is supposedly on.
The board had a longer time period where no one was checking the battery level of the CMOS battery. It was fully depleted, however using a fresh battery did not help.

I reflashed the BIOS chip from the outside with a CH314a programmer, see in this thread :
https://forum.up-community.org/discussion/4573/flash-bios-with-ch341a-and-soic8-test-clipHowever, nothing changed. The behavior remains the same. The BIOS chip also was not empty, but contained large parts of what is in UPC1DM17.bin. This was also the version the board had loaded before, so this was to be expected if it is not empty.
What could I try next to get to board to boot?
EDIT: I also tried the cooler with the fan and the fan is spinning up. LAN port lights don't flash although the lights on the switch light up for a 100M connection (but this may not be very meaningful).

if that's the case, I would suggest to request an RMA for that product.
