Does HDMI audio work?

in UP Board Linux
Hi All,

I have the Upboard UPT-CHT01-A10-0464.

I made the build by myself using the instruction in the release.

https://github.com/emutex/meta-up-board (Yocto)


The HDMI video playback is working fine but the I do not hear any sound from the HDMI monitor.

Does UpBoard HDMI Audio really work?

    Hi Erin,

    Could you please double check that the meta-layer is actually included properly in the build?

    For example you can try some of the I/O to make sure that the UP kernel changes have been included. If not, then the kernel resulted from your built does not include the UP patches in the meta layer.
