Up board not booting into windows or android

It would show the Up board logo screen and it would look like it's about to load windows, but it suddenly doesn't display anything or the screen would turn into a specific color, same thing happens when trying with android. Is this board detective ?

Can you provide more details about your setup?

PSU, hdmi cable type/lenght, other peripherals connected, etc.

Also, Have you tried to install our latest ubilinux release?

I have it connected to a portable charger which outputs at 5v 3a. The hdmi connection is about 6ft long. All thats connected is a keyboard and a usb thumbdrive. I have not tried ubilinux since I want it to run windows or android.

Hi Johnathan,

Do you mean you didn't do anything else besides your description above? If so, please try to unplug RTC battery for 30 sec, then plug it back. During booting, press F7 to enter booting device menu. I assume you have prepared a USB drive for Windows OS installation. You may follow here for Installation instruction.
