Power Up only at Power Button press

in UP Squared Hardware Specification
I am trying to build a portable server with the UP squared using the available UPS Board as a means of powering it on the go.

Because I missed the campaign I had to preorder it and its gonna be some time until I get my hands on it, so I would be very happy if somebody could answer this question for me.

For my application it would be obviously very handy if the UP didn't start as soon as power is available but would only start when the power button was pressed is this possible or would i need to write a script that shuts the Board down every time it powers up unintendedly?

    I think you just need a Power On/Off button switch adapter for UP board, right?
    or you want to change the power button action? if this is the case, I'm not sure that button can support or not
    For me, it should be hardware to control that, not software
