Can you connect RPi parallel interface screens to the 40pin header?

Hello,
I'm wondering if its possible to connect RaspberryPi display hats which use the gpio pins in parallel display interface mode (DPI)
As described here:

It would be great as I have this screen in mind (800x480 3.5inch):

It is an ideal size/resolution for my needs and supports proper capacitive touch, all via the gpio - cable free.

sorry but the Up Board doesn't have a DPI interface exposed on the HAT.
But you can use a SPI based TFT display instead
or an HDMI one like this https://www.adafruit.com/product/2260
