Windows XP or Window 7 on UpBoard with 16GB eMMC?

It is possible to boot Win XP or Win 7 on Upboard?
Reason: my board has just 16GB eMMC => I have installed win 10 but cannot perform the OS updates as 16GB is not enough :-(
Note: If I want to run Win10 anyway on my board, what would be an elegant alternative:
- Would ESX + a Virtual Machine on a USB stick be fast enough?
- It is possible to use an external USB stick to store some part of the Win 10 OS?

    Hi aurel,

Unfortunately Windows XP or 7 are not supported on this platform.
You can try to use an external USB3.0 disk, install and boot Windows completely from there.

Please bare in mind that to use USB3.0 peripherals we strongly suggest to use cables which have been tested with the UP Board, like the ones available on the UP Shop.

I am not sure of your requirements, but another alternative would be to try out Ubuntu?

I think ESX requires 4GB of RAM so you might be out of luck there.

You could always try Unraid, I think that only needs about ~500Mb, then virtualise your OS inside that?
