Any good guides out there on troubleshooting an SIM cards?

in UP Squared Pro Linux

I have an FN980m cellular module and a SIM card. However, the AT commands I use tell me that I do not have a SIM card connected. Is there something that needs to be done to the Up Squared Pro board to get it to see the SIM card?

    Hi Taylorburton,

    What operating system are you using?
    Can you share a picture of the AT command?
    Does the SIM card size match?
    Is the SIM card new? If not, you can wipe the metal contacts on the SIM card with an eraser and try again.

    Thanks Wilbert, I got the SIM card up and running.

    It was an issue where the Telit modem expected the SIM card to be hot swappable and wasn't able to detect it on the sense pin.

    I don't think your board has a sense pin setup.

    I had to use at#hsen to change the Telit to switch off the hot swap feature.
