Fedora?

Hi all,

Has anyone tried to run fedora on this board and know if it works ootb? (Out Of The Box)

    Hi Johnny,
    One of our beta testers has tried Fedora 23 installer and it worked.

    Of course it doesn't include additional changes specific to support the UP I/O interface, hdmi audio and other tweaks we include in the ubilinux kernel.
    The ubilinux kernel source and patches will be available so you could work to enable the same features on other distributions like Fedora.

    Just got my boards and I would love to have a fedora running on them.

    Any tips / information to make this happen?

    Hi Laurent D,

    The situation with Fedora is mostly the same: it's an unsupported distro. It will still run on the UP, but without the mentioned features working out of the box.
    The kernel patches are publicly available if anyone wants to try porting. You can take a look at the Other Linux OS section of the forum if you're interested.
