Installing pure Debian?

Hello,
has anybody sucessfully installed pure Debian (not Ubilinux) on an Upboard?
I ran into two problems:
At first, the Debian installer did not see /dev/mmcblk0, which I "solved" by using the debian-testing.iso (at least I could continue to format the eMMC),
but then I ran into an error message like this:
"The attempt to mount a file system with type vfat in SCSI2 (0,0,0), partition #1 (sda) at /boot/efi failed
You may resume partitioning from the partitioning menu."
Any Ideas how to solve this? I really don't know how to approach this...
EDIT: Nevermind. The newest weekly testing.iso worked without any problem. Hence I assume this is solved then...
