I've tried to install both W10 and Ubilinux (images created with Rufus 2.11p) but in every case the setup fails.
The error is "CD Rom Driver is missing". During ubilinux the shell show me many errors on mount steps.
Someone can help me?
Thanks

Are you using a portable cd-rom?
-
please try the installation via USB stick and let me know if it works for you.
-
Already done. I tried only with usb stick (4GB) but nothing change

Are both installations failing with the same error, "CD Rom Driver is missing"?
Are you connecting the USB stick to one of the 4 USB2.0 ports or to the USB3.0 OTG?
Also do you have any other device or cable connected during the installation (network cable, wifi dongle, webcam, etc.)? -
Yes , same message.
I have tried only on usb2.0
I have a cable on lan. I try to disconnect? -
Yes please, try the offline installation.
Make sure that you are using the latest ubilinux package available from: https://up-community.org/downloads/ubilinux -
Hi
I am almost sure you forget to select DD write method. I did the same.
Do this with Rufus
Selest USB-Pen (drive)
Select MBR partition for UEFI
Select quick format
select Create a boobtable disk using ISO image and select the ISO file.
Create extended label and icon files.
Press start
Now Rufus will ask for download new files for syslinux because of old files in the ISO.
Say yes to this.
Next it will ask you to select the recommended write in ISO mode (recommended) or write in DD mode.
You should select "Write in DD image mode"
I guess you forgot this or as me did not understand the last step.
I think now will it install or it did for me until i ran into new problems.
If you get more problems later in the installation process, press alt-f4 then you can see what is the problem.
