We are very sorry for the delay of the ABS chassis, and we know all of you keep your patience of waiting. We do appreciate.

While waiting for the official UP board chassis, you may want to print a chassis to lay your UP board.
This chassis is designed for hobbyists only and it is not tested in the thermal chamber.
If you would like to print your own UP chassis or modify it, enjoy our complimentary drawing.

Check it and download it from here.
Or you can download the STL file including the support file (for some printers) from our download section.

Unfortunately, this is too large from my printer. When do you expect to have official cases?

How much will these be, because I got a quote for FDM printed versions for $100 each.

Is any 3rd party willing to print and sell these? Its a great board but needs some protection.

Yes you can have some one else print it for a cost. I went to this link and it says it will cost me just $9.22 Uploaded the files to them and you can pick any one to print it and it says the miles away from you. So some you can just go and pick it up when it's done.

    The link is this.

It ended up costing just $23.41 and I can go pick it up when it's done. Added PETG plastic because it take more heat with out melting the case.

    At the 3dhubs.com link.

Looks like I can go pick it up Friday after noon. He sent me this photo of the bottom part.

I will post back tomorrow when I have it.

He said tonight the top part should be done.

I went to the person house. He has like 6 or 7 3D printers with fans on them. We talked a wile and I bought my UP board and it fit right in the case he printed. It was fast doing it too. Got it all ready. I went out side and got this video of it.

Put it on You Tube here.

This board will not let you upload .mp4 extensions.

Have not used it just got it and wanted to tell others. It seems real good. Nice job on this case.

Just want to find some screws were I can push rubber feet on the heads of the screws to hold the case together.

    Hi Raymond,
Do you know whether the board fits in this case with the active cooler installed?
    thanks!

Maybe I can answer for Raymond.
The cooler height is still lower than the 40-pin BUS. therefore the board will fit the chassis.

    Hi Raymond,

Since you've had the case for almost two months now, how has it worked out?

    Would you recommend this design?

Perhaps it will fit but I am afraid that the air flow would require some side openings

This case works real good. I had it this long and no problems. The heat sink is on it with I guess all most 1/2 inch between the top and case so room in there on mine.

Does anyone have the STL file for this? The UP download link is going to a 404 error :(
