Hi,
I am running W10 Enterprise on my Up Board and I was wondering if I can address the onboard leds from C# or Asm. I know it's possible under Linux but I am not sure how to do it under Windows if it's even possible.
Greetings

Hi Mars,
Do you mean the three LEDs on the back? -
Yup, those are the one I was referring to
-
Hi Mars,
Our colleague is evaluating provide way to control the LED, update you later. -
Thanks a lot JKuo

any more news on this? the lack of a flickering red light to let you know the sd is loading stuff while you look at a black screen praying for a boot is an issue, perhaps add at least one led to the bios?

Hi ,
The LED SDK is under development. -
Any word as to when the LED SDK will be released?
-
The project planner doesn't provide specific released date.
After he comes back to office, I will try to check with him. -
Update some status.
The schedule of the LEDs SDK is postponed, and don't have expected target date.
So currently we can only use Linux OS to control the LEDs if necessary. -
Hello,
since the LED control SDK for Windows is postponed is there a possibility to get the details about which registers to write to to control them manually by creating a driver ?
I regret actually a bit the missing documentation about the board to be able to progress internally in cases where we don't get support for the board ...
Is there a set of documentation available to be able to create our own device Drivers for the UP board ?
Best regards -
It's pretty sad that the support for the 1st
UP board already got dropped. Probably because there are too much issues with the first generation boards.
