Hi, I found a pdf where is explained that the up board with windwos 10 needs drivers for GPIO pins but i can't find these drivers, someone know where i can get them? In my up board i found a lot of unknown devices so i think one of them is GPIO hw, I tried to use intel driver update utility to find missing drivers but it hasn't found anything?
I found these drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25122/Intel-I-O-Processor-Controller-Driver-for-Windows-10
but them aren't compatible with the up board
Someone have some tips?
Thanks!

At this moment, we provide Windows DIO SDK instead of driver. I hope it can be helpful for now. https://up-community.org/downloads/microsoft-windows
-
The current DIO SDK says it's still an alpha kit, and says that the official SDK or driver support will release soon.
Is there a date when the official SDK/driver will be released?
Thanks,

Here is updated GPIO DRIVER www.up-board.org/doc/UP/driver/EAPI&SDK.rar
We are still in progress of compiling it into auto-installation driver; and will have another update soon. -
The contents of this new package are totally different than what was in the alpha GPIO SDK. Is this what the final interface will be?
-
It has been almost 2 months... when will the final GPIO SDK be finalized and released?
Thanks,

Aling Wu mentioned earlier that you were working on an auto-installation driver package (rather than having to install the driver using Device Manager). When will that be available?
For my application I will need to be able to do an unattended installation of the framework driver.
Thanks,

Hi Jay,
The executable file to install AAEON framework is a long term plan.
Sorry .. currently we don't have a specific date to provide this auto-installation driver package. -
Is it possible to use I2C in Windows in C#?
Will be there a update for this sdk? it is called alpha ... no progress since release -
Basti, sorry, I am not a technical guy. but I did discuss I2C driver issue with UP team. As far as I understand I2C driver differs according to different connecting device, so you will need to have driver or sample code from the connecting device. Then from there, you can use our sample code to make driver.
JKuo is away for CNY. Will be back with us in 1 week, then we can know more from him. -
Hi, what's the status of the drivers? Are they on the downloads page now?

Hi,
I also needed a Windows 10 full with GPIO pins so I’ve recently bought an UP Board.
After installing W10 and reading quite a few posts in your forum,
I’ve stumbled with the unpleasant surprise that GPIO is still unsupported.
I’ve got 4 yellow exclamation warnings in Device Manager:
ACPI\80862288\1
ACPI\80862288\2
ACPI\ADC081C\4&377525F2&0
ACPI\HAD022A8\1
I would like to get an estimated date of having the full working Windows .

Intel drivers are presently calling the 730 Series SSD its "flagship consumer drive" with a half increment in controller speed and a 20% expansion in the NAND streak transport speed contrasted with its ancestor - the SSD 530 arrangement. The new SSD will ship to wholesalers on March 18. Preorders are accessible today.
