Hi all, I am really interested in possibly purchasing an Up-Board. I am very curious about the DSI/eDP port. Is this able to drive smartphone screens directly? I am basically interested if I can do the same thing as the hackaday project linked below. If so are there any models that someone has tested? I would like to use a 1080p screen though if I could do this with a 4k screen that would be great but not necessary. Please let me know if this is unclear. Thanks for the help!

    Hi Benza119,

unfortunately we didn't test UP with any phone screen and we don't suggest to take the risk to buy it.
The main problem is that Intel doesn't release DSI/MIPI source code and this limits a lot the possibility.
Nowadays we tested UP with our LVDS 7" / 10" Display using our DSI-to-LVDS board.
We also tested the eDP port under Windows and Android - it works - but under Linux it seems there are still some issues to be solved related to BIOS.
I hope this answer can help you
    Cheers

    Hi Fab,

Is it possible to puchase your DSI-LDVS board on its own please?

I would like to use a 10.1" Pixel Qi screen with my Up.

    Here is the datasheet: https://cdn-shop.adafruit.com/datasheets/3Qi-1_V22_spec_20110919.306200524.pdf
