I did not think the default Ubuntu server would boot on it. But ti does.
Used this one: ubuntu-16.04.1-server-amd64.iso
I thought would have to mod the OS some but wow just installs and works!
Updating it now. So I just have the log in when it boots. It's a little server. Going to install things yet.

Just got phpsysinfo installed and it's neat to see the info on this up board. I did a screen shot of it.
Nice small board!

Got the 4GB RAM one and I all so have a Intel compute stick "STK2MV64CC" type that has 4GB of RAM all so.
The phpsysinfo on both them don't show the same. On the Intel stick it shows:
3.73 GiB
But on the UP board shows:
3.28 GiB
Why is that? I guess they should say the same. Both 4GB of RAM.

Hi Raymond,
Glad to se you working on a small UP based server.
On the UP board 4GB there are 512MB dedicated by default to the GPU but you can change it from the BIOS menu. -
Went in the BIOS and set the GPU for as low RAM as can be.
Now phpsysinfo for RAM is saying more! 3.77 GiB now.
Thank you. I did not think of the BIOS. Not sure what key I press to get in the BIOS.
But this Ubuntu server boots fast. I counted 18 sec.
This board seems to be working real good.
