From the documentation of the RockTouch touch screen it is clear that a separate board is present and that the up -board is connected with a DSI and USB cable to this board to the touch screen. RockTouch however has a quite simple adapter to connect the touch screen via USB or RS232 (a PCAP adapter box, http://rocktouch.co/?page_id=43). Does somebody know why not this adapter box is included bot another board?
Thank already very much for a reply

The RockTouch PCAP adapter has a 1mm pitch FPC connector. It looks like all RockTouch screens over 10" have 1mm pitch, while the 7" has 0.5mm.
