Device mode on USB Type-c connector ?
Hi,
I'm looking to use the UP Squared Pro 7000 as USB device. According to the USB controller used for the CPU, It is possible to configured it as USB device but I can't find any settings to enable it on BIOS side. Is it possible to enable it ?
Regards Romain.

Hi Sir
The UP Squared Pro 7000 is not supported this feature.

Hi,
I'm looking to do this as well. Did you ever find a way to enable it?

Please refer to the attachment.
Only Linux supports this feature.
If the BIOS version is too low, this function cannot be used and the BIOS needs to be updated.Best Regards,

Thank you so much! I will try this out.

@HarryChiu I have an UP 7000 with BIOS UP-ADLN01 R1.9 (UPADAM19) but I do not see the TCSS Setup or PCH-IO Configuration.
Could you let me know where I can find a BIOS version that will have these options?

Hi @deanm1278
Your board is UP7000 (UP-ADLN). It does not have type-C and cannot use this feature.
Please refet to UP Squared Pro 7000 (UPN-ADLN).

Hi @HarryChiu
I have a UPN-ADLNX25E-A10-0864 with Debian 12 installed. I followed the steps in UPN-ADLN Enabling USB2&3 Device Mode for Linux.docx but cannot change the USB-C port to the device mode. Does this feature work for Debian 12?
