Up sample app sdk showing static version of C++ runtime library not supported

Hello, I got the upsqaured pro recently and downloaded the sample app sdk from github (https://github.com/aaeonaeu/win-demo-apps) and after i selected the DIO project and rebuild the solution i got the following error:

Using static version of the C++ runtime library is not supported,

I am looking to make my own MFC app similar to the sdk but to control the digital pins following my logic. Is there a solution to this? Can someone point me in the right direction?
