Controlling DIO using the sample app sdk

Hello, I am new to the upsqaured board programming. I got the upsquared pro recently and was wondering whether anyone can provide a quick guide to getting started with the board.

I am looking to create a simple program using MFC to simply set a DIO pin as output and make it high.

I have been trying for a couple of days and still to no avail. Wondering if anyone can give me some pointers?

I used the aaeon sample apps > dio sdk as a reference.
