Using ubuntu, with ver 1.0 bios, and minicom.

After further investigation with a logic probe, noting is being sent out for the tx on the transceiver when i select RS-422 and hardware handshake. Also the DTR pin is not set. If i select RS-232 on bios with hardware handshake everything works ok and all signals are ok.

    Hi Sir,

Thanks for your patience and sorry for the late update.
Attach the updated BIOS, which has been confirmed by AE test first, and can use RS422 mode

Change the BIOS to RS422 mode, test with Ubuntu 22.04, use the tool Minicom, change the Hardware flow control to No, and it can be used.

    Best Regards,
    Wilbert Lee.

    Hello @Wilbert

I see in the BIOS you linked that it is also a change on enabling support for RS485. Which port will support RS485? Is it the port on the HAT-connector or the port on the CN11 (RS-232/422)? Will there be an official release of the BIOS version you linked above?

    Thanks.

    Hi Sir,

    At CN11.
The official version is undergoing an internal validation process, and an update will be released upon completion.

    Best Regards,
    Wilbert Lee.
