As anyone been able to use the RS422?
RS232 works great even with RTS but, after setting RS-422 on the bios, i'm onçy able to receive but not transmit.
Using ubuntu, with ver 1.0 bios, and minicom.
After further investigation with a logic probe, noting is being sent out for the tx on the transceiver when i select RS-422 and hardware handshake. Also the DTR pin is not set. If i select RS-232 on bios with hardware handshake everything works ok and all signals are ok.
Can you provide your Ubuntu version? Kernel version?
I will arrange a test to confirm this problem as soon as possible.
I've tried both of these:
Ubuntu 20.04 with the kernel 5.4.0 modification as instruted on the wiki
Ubuntu 22.04 with kernel 5.15.0
Thanks for your help
Thank you very much for the details, we have reproduced the issue.
The problem is currently being clarified, if there is an update, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Sorry for taking so long to update.
We expect to fix this issue with an official BIOS release next week.
Thanks for your patience and sorry for the late update.
Attach the updated BIOS, which has been confirmed by AE test first, and can use RS422 mode
Change the BIOS to RS422 mode, test with Ubuntu 22.04, use the tool Minicom, change the Hardware flow control to No, and it can be used.
