Up Xtreme i11 i225 Ubuntu 22.04

Hello UP Boarders,
The UP Xtreme i11 pages show a note that:
"Please note that the latest NVM for i225 IT Ethernet controller is not working in Ubuntu Linux."
with a link to a 1.5yr old Ubuntu bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1945178

Does this apply to the integrated i225 ethernet controller?

Is this still an issue with Ubuntu 22.04?

it's no issue on 22.04.2
