Are there expansion boards available for UP board to support EtherCAT Slave , CAN/CAN-FD?
Can the UP board function as a grand-master clock in the network? What is the accuracy of the oscillator on UP board?

The RTC use the 32.768kHz crystal oscillator with a nominal +/- 20 PPM accuracy.
