Filesystem corruption, read-only filesystem, and eMMC problems
I have numerous 64G UP Squared boards that are currently running Ubuntu 18.04 with the UP kernel version 5.4.0 and the most recent (v6.1) UP bios. I have been consistently getting a corrupted filesystem that sometimes ends up read-only and often displays mmc issues in the kern.log file as shown below. This is happening in the middle of operation with no power loss issues.
kernel: [ 5710.200889] mmc0: mmc_select_hs400 failed, error -84 kernel: [ 5710.201463] mmc0: mmc_hs400_to_hs200 failed, error -110
mmcblk0: error -110 sending stop command, original cmd response 0x0, card status 0x400900 mmcblk0: error -110 transferring data, sector 22099648, nr 8, cmd response 0x0, card status 0x0
I have previously used the older 128G UP Squared boards for the same purposes as I am using them now and never ran into this issue.
Any ideas on what could be causing this across multiple boards?

Hi @nattip ,
Sorry to read this, can you tell how many units have this issue? Can you also send the output of
uname -a
anddmesg
log to my email. (find on my profile) -
Hey, could you solve the issue? If so, what was the solution?
We are having the same problems with the 32GB Up squared boards. -
Same problem here with 5 of the 32GB variant (UPN-APLC2F-A10-0232) running Debian 12.0.
Was a solution found for this issue? -
No, did you find something out? What's the rate of affected boards on your side? We have around 10 out of 200...
@FredyHsu can you help us?
