USB failure

in UP board Troubleshooting and FAQs

Had two upboards USB fail on one side. In both cases we believe it is this component but my eyes are not good enough to identify it. I am sure I can fix the boards by replacing this.

    USB worked fine when we got the board. They are all configured and tested before being deployed. They failed in use. We have about 50 and have been using them for the last 3 years. These two failed recently. Not sure why they failed.

    Kindly proceed with RMA for further testing and repairs, if you purchased directly from UP Shop you can do that from here, else you have to raise the RMA via your reseller.

    Thanks, I will check purchase dates on units to see if still under warranty. As units still function and all we have lost is a pair of USB it would be useful to know the identity of the part so we can replace ourselves.
