UP Board Xtreme Not Booting After Faulty Bios Flash
Hi, I have a UP Xtreme Board with the Intel Sensor Hub. After doing a bios flash, the system does not boot up (I think the bios might not be the correct bios for this system, although the flashing was successful). The boot logo was not seen and the fan was not activated on power on. I cannot enter bios settings. Is there anything I can do to reset the faulty bios to factory state?

Hi Pratik, I am unable to enter the bios to perform the flash using this method as the device boot logo was not even displayedd and the fan was not activated on power on (It does not seem to be booting at all, even to the bios menu).
Is there anything else I can do in this case to reset the bios to it's original state?

If the board becomes unusable due to a bad BIOS upgrade (e.g. if the wrong BIOS image was used, or if the flashing step was interrupted), and you cannot re-flash it with the regular bios update the BIOS chip can still be re-flashed with an EEPROM programmer with the correct image.
You can use the SF100 or SF600 SPI NOR Flash Programmer and flash the BIOS directly from the UP Xtreme board. You would also require a custom cable to connect it to the UP Xtreme CPLD and BIOS update pin header shown below(in red),
