Howto install Linux on up2-pro?
So I’m wondering if someone can point me to a resource to built and install a Linux for the up2-pro?
This page for example does NOT mention the up squared pro: https://github.com/AAEONAEU-SW/meta-up-board

Update: UPS Pro installation and configuration steps for Ubuntu 18.04 and Ubuntu 20.04 are updated here,

Sorry to hijack this thread but I am running into an error while installing Ubuntu 20.04 on an AAEON AOIT-IP6801 which I believe is based on the UP Squared board. I get the following error while running
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge 'linux-.*generic'
E: Aborting removal of the running kernel dpkg: error processing package linux-image-5.4.0-77-generic (--remove): installed linux-image-5.4.0-77-generic package pre-removal script subprocess returned error exit status 1 dpkg: too many errors, stopping Errors were encountered while processing: linux-image-5.4.0-77-generic Processing was halted because there were too many errors.
The only way to recover is to reinstall Ubuntu 20.04. I have tried multiple times to Install Ubuntu kernel 5.4.0 following the instructions from here: https://github.com/up-board/up-community/wiki/Ubuntu_20.04. I have gone so far as to try to ignore the error and proceed with the installation. This results is the system hanging on the next boot with this error:
Alert! /dev/mapper//ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv does not exist. Dropping to a shell!
When I type
uname -a
, I seeLinux (none) 5.4.0-77-generic #86-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 17 02:035:03 UTC 2021 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.
