Real Time Option?

In the BIOS there is a setting for Real Time Option (RT), but I can't seem to find details anywhere for what this does. My use case involves ACRN hypervisor with a single real-time VM, hence this BIOS option sounds interesting, but I would like to know what it does! I have wondered if it's related to Intel TCC, which I've seen mentioned in marketing literature for Atom E3900 series, but cannot see an option for this in the BIOS.
