Hello,
Is it possible to use Mini PCI Express based WIFI module in the "1x mPICe (1x PCIex1 (option mSATA), 1x USB2.0) with SIM" slot?

Yes you would need a MiniPCIe WiFi card (if you have a half length card you would need an extender/adapter). They are more difficult to find, but if you have it already it should work depending on the driver support availability either on Windows or Linux for that module.
