BIOS ISSUES

I have bought the 7 inch LCD touch screen for the UP board. The setup guide describes accessing the BIOS in order to enable the eDP display. However the BIOS is password protected. Are there any suggestions?

you can simply press enter, the password (which is available in our wiki: https://wiki.up-community.org/Bios_Update#Engineering_BIOS_password ) is needed only to access extra customization feature useful for development and optimisation, but you don't need to enter any password to change the eDP settings.

ya I have been to that site prior to asking the question. That makes the assumptio5n that upon bootup an entering F7 that the files on theme USB drive will enable. I have followed the direction on downloading Windows 10 Home and I wanted to enable a few things in the BIOS to get some accessories working. After hitting F7 I am prompted to enter a password, which I dont have. That website you linked does not seem to run into this issue.

Alright so maybe there is something wrong with my keyboard. Though it works within the Windows OS. After pressing enter, upon entering the BIOS password menu, nothing happens. The password I had tried prior to posting and it also did not respond.
