10" HDMI display blurry

bought a Kalesmart 10" display for a demo with Up2 Pentium and the display is blurry,,, xrandr shows the following:
Screen 0: minimum 320x320, current 1024x600 , maximum 8192x8192
DP-1 disconnected
HDMI-1 connected primary 1024x600-0-0 ....

I connected to WIndows on my dual OS laptop as secondary and the display works fine with all resolutions...
I connected to Ubuntu on my dual OS laptop as secondary and the display is fuzzy on all resolutions
I think it means this is an Ubuntu 16.04 issue but I don't know what to do...
Guidance is much appreciated!

It definitely seems an Ubuntu support issue.
I would suggest to use Ubuntu 18.04 with newer kernel/drivers and updated video support.
