How to reset board bios to default/factory settings and clear the password?

What is the recommended/straightforward/easiest way to reset the bios to the default/factory settings?

And how do we reset the BIOS password?

Do we just need to unplug the RTC coin-battery for a few seconds and everything is gone? Like, the password and bios settings?

Everything is restored to default if you unplug the RTC battery for some time, I would suggest more than a few seconds, to be sure it is correctly reset.
