External power button

I am considering embedding the Up Xtreme in a mobile robot. It will be hard to reach the power button on the board. Is there any header that can be used to wire another power button?

I don't think so. But you can remove the existing one and then run wires from the solder pads to your external button. In fact you don't really need to remove the existing power button, just run wires to attach the external button in parallel.

Hi @robobuilder
from the bottom you can solder the wires for an external button to the Power Button (SW2)
You can check out the pinout from our User's Manual: https://downloads.up-community.org/download/up-xtreme-users-manual-and-datasheet/Please bare in mind that looking at the pins from the bottom, you have to mirror the pins (left to right)
pin one is the squared pin, pin 2 is on the side, etc.
