Error: Secure Flash function is not supported on this file for 1GB Up board

Hi:
I'm trying to update the BIOS on a 1GB Upboard I have.
Getting the "Error: Secure Flash function is not supported on this file", and noticed there are is a workaround (installing v1.5 bios), but the attached file seems to be for 2GB/4GB SKUs. Don't want to brick my device, so I'll be very grateful if someone knows how to fix this.
The BIOS settings on the up board are very thorough, and noticed that there are many options for "Secure boot" but don't want to touch/break anything. Can anyone help?
