Purpose of USB3.0/3.1 micro-B superspeed Receptacle on Up Board/UP Core Plus?
There are (1) micro-B superspeed Receptacle on Up Board/UP Core Plus. Recently got a UP Core (along w/ many Cables-Accessories) . I am in the USA, so I grab what-I-can when-I-can.
AAR I bought a Male -micro-B-TO-Male-B-micro-B Cable, from UP-Shop. My Q1: Can I use this Cable to connect my UP Board's USB3.0 port TO an External USB3.0 Enclosure(d) HDD? This USB external HDD has a (Female) Receptacle-micro-B?

Hi @uscdadnyc
I have never tried this cable so I cannot say.
But I did try the USB 3.0 OTG câble and it allows to connect external HDD drive with USB 3.0 speeds.

Rreignier: Thx for info. Being in the USA, I also bought the USB 3.0 OTG cable. (As long as I was ordering/getting my UP Core from Netherlands). FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) as they say Millennials suffer from. BTW I am a Senior Citizen.
