How to configure 4G (LTE) USB stick (Huawei E3372) on UP Core with Ubuntu 16.04?
I tried to follow this answer (https://askubuntu.com/questions/757638/can-not-connect-huawei-e3372-modem-on-ubuntu-15-10-please-help), without success. I already followed this process with success on NVidea Jetson TX2, Raspberry Pi, and my laptop. It does not work only on my UP Core.
lsub returns it on 12d1:1f01, but in memory mode, and I cannot change it for usb modem.

I am sorry but we don't have this modem to test and we only have validated internal USB modem on miniPCIe form factor.
On UP Core you would need a carrier board and MiniPCIe modem like those:
