I have UP Core with 1GB of RAM and 16GB eMMC.
I try to install Ubuntu 18.04.3 from USB stick (as descfribed here - https://wiki.up-community.org/Ubuntu) but the installation stucked and also "Try Ubuntu without installing" stucked.
"Check disk for defects" option finish with no errors found.
Any suggestions?

Hi @sagis
I think 1GB of RAM may not be enough for Ubuntu 18.04.3. Perhaps you could try a more lightweight version instead, such as https://lubuntu.net/?

Thanks @Dan O'Donovan it works with lubuntu-16.04-desktop-amd64!
The kernel installation from https://wiki.up-community.org/Ubuntu is not updated - I installed package upboard05 and it required additional .deb files from the net..
