UpBoard shorted out

hey everyone my upboard shorted out somehow and burned the 5 legged component right under the usb 3 header on the opposite side of the board . can someone tell me whats the exact component there so i can order one? thank you !!

That usually happens when you connect a wrong power supply to the system.
The UP Board requires a 5V PSU

thanks for the reply yes your right i have a 12v power supply connected to a step down converter and the dial must have been increased by mistake ... can you tell me the part number of the component that blew ?

hi, my up-board was blocked by an incorrect 24v power supply (my mistake). Turn on, wont boot, just blu led turn on. The components on board are apparently good. Can I try to change the component you have indicated? Did you solve it? Where could I get it?

@Marco I am afraid the board is fried. Even though there is no obvious damage in cosmetics, the circuit is burned. We had several cases and learned that it is not repairable. It is a pity.
