UP Xtreme CPU fan control

Hi,

I've noticed an apparent issue with UP Xtreeme CPU fan not speeding up when CPU temperature increases on Ubuntu 19.10 (stock 5.x kernel) and 18.04 (running 5.x kernel from ppa:aaeonaeu/upboard). In both cases, I was able to push the core temperature to a steady 93-94C range using a CPU stress test (stress-ng) but the CPU fan was still barely spinning. Good for noise control, bad for temperature control. The numbers in /proc/cpuinfo seem to indicate that cores' clocks are being throttled.

The lm-sensors package could not find any CPU fan controls.

Has anyone run into similar issues or knows of possible workarounds?

Thanks,
Roman
