UP-Board "enter password"
Hi. I'm running Ubuntu 18.10. After many reminders to upgrade to 19.04, I let it go ahead and upgrade. All is good and runs fine. Problem is, it keeps running and doesn't shut down or reboot. I decided to put 18.10 back on however, pressing ESC or F7 I'm stuck at the "Enter Password". Many attempts. So I deleted the boot partition and restarted it with the USB Ubuntu 18.10 and it worked. It booted from the USB automatically. Works fine. Back in business. I could never get into the Bios. Not sure if I should cancel RMA request. Seems I should be able to go into Bios to change boot order. Suggestion would be great.

the password it is not mandatory, it is only to access BIOS in admin mode.
You can just press enter and go into the BIOS.

That doesn't work

What board do you have exactly?

Hi @Butch
It is very strange as any wired keyboard should work without issues.
Please try to remove the RTC battery for a minute and then plug it again.
Also try another keyboard, the password is: upassw0rd
But as I mentioned it is not mandatory. -
4 keyboards. 2 wireless, 2 wired. No keyboard function at the enter password screen.

Yep. New this was going nowhere. Not to impressed with the upboard.

Well I figured it out. My keyboard has a touch pad on it. I also had a USB mouse plugged in. When I unplugged the USB mouse, Keyboard worked. Can now get into the bios. Thanks for your efforts.
